OstermanCron Recognized for Disaster Relief
Efforts:
OC team heads to New Orleans to help rebuild home
OstermanCron was recently recognized by the Louisiana
Conference of the UMC Disaster Response for its contribution to
hurricane relief efforts.
On June 27, 2008, eight OstermanCron team members traveled to New
Orleans to assist Anthony and Gwendolyn Pierre, whose home suffered
extreme damage in Hurricane Katrina. Rebuilding has been a long,
difficult endeavor. “We can’t put into words how humbling this
experience was,” said Joel Osterman, founding partner of
OstermanCron. “The Pierre family endured not only the most
devastating natural disaster in US history, but they had to abandon
their home and belongings for two years. To help this couple restore
their home was a remarkable event and a blessing to all.”
The Louisiana Conference of the UMC Disaster Response recognized
OstermanCron for its efforts with a Certificate of Appreciation
and an offer to return again.
