Objective: Like many of its patients, the office of First Impressions Dentistry underwent a makeover - and the results were dramatic. Formerly located in a small 1000 square foot facility that not only lacked many of the tools of modern dentistry, it was not inviting or comforting for patients.

Today, the family and esthetic dentistry office is relocated in a new 4000 square foot space that lives up to its name - a wow First Impression. The reception area greets clients with spa-like comforts to ease tension. The private offices feature rich woods and warm fabrics while the administrative area is furnished with functional rotary files and ergonomic task chairs. Every space in the new office was meticulously designed and furnished Ð ensuring everything at First Impressions is first class.

Project and Products:
First Impressions wanted to create a warm and soothing environment that reflected the high-quality of care its patients deserved. OstermanCron provided new furniture solutions in the following areas:

In the reception lobby, National Monterrey lounge seating and National Medalist side chairs are clustered for small groups and families, or single seating is available. Carolina cocktail and end tables accent the room. A small nook with pint-size Fixtures Bola tables and chairs keeps children entertained and safe.

A private office in Kimball Osterley Park series with glass cabinets showcases Dr. Miller's dentistry collection. A Justice desk chair from National, guest chairs from the Kimball Murfield series, and a leather sofa from St. Timothy finish the office.

A second private office is outfitted with the National Escalade series in a rich mocha finish, Kimball Murfield desk chair and National Medalist guest chairs.

Kimball Xtreme task seating and Datum high density rotary files are found in the administrative area.

The staff lounge features Kimball Event chairs and Footprint tables.

The vestibule bench is from the Elsie series by Nevins.

Exam room seating is from the Kimball Avenue series.

Terra seating completes the consultation area.

Why the furniture worked:
The choices in wood and fabric complement the construction materials of granite, etched glass, rich wood trim, and stone tile. The ability to blend finishes and fabrics across Kimball and National product lines gave the office a cohesive look and helped finalize the new high-end image.
