Objective: Shire US, a unit of the Shire global pharmaceutical company, was moving to the top three floors of a new building located in the greater Cincinnati area and they needed to furnish the new space.

Project: Nearly 150 workstations, over 70 private offices, and five miscellaneous work areas.

Products: Kimball by Design, Definition, Change, Interworks, Reasons, National seating.

Why the furniture worked: Rich wood tones and earthy color and fabric choices, combined with the craftsmanship of the Kimball Office lines, gave Shire the high-end image they were looking for. In addition, OstermanCron was able to respond to the client's tight deadlines through Kimball Office's Quickship program.

Why OstermanCron? Six to seven furniture dealers were involved in the competitive bid that was ultimately awarded to OstermanCron. Shire knew that Kimball Office offered a superior product and understood the long-term value of working with Kimball Office Reasons and OstermanCron. The use of the Emagine rendering software was critical in helping Shire with their furniture selection and presentation.
