CINCINNATI, OH. – February 13, 2009
– OstermanCron, a premier office
furniture dealer headquartered in
Cincinnati, announced that it has
aligned with Sensory Technologies to
bring audio-visual, video conference,
and collaboration solutions to its
clients. When clients are planning,
configuring and selecting office
furniture for their workspace, the
specifications for visual, audio, and
collaboration technology happen in
parallel. Now, OstermanCron and Sensory
Technologies can work jointly on
comprehensive design solutions including
interior design, office furniture, and
communication technology for meeting,
training, lobby, and work space. This
greatly simplifies and streamlines
planning and execution for OstermanCron
clients.
Audio Visual Comes Alive in
OstermanCron’s “working” showroom
Every private office, work station,
and meeting space in the OstermanCron
showroom highlights different furniture
options, allowing visitors to see
“furniture at work” versus static
catalog photos. And now the showroom is
equipped with sophisticated audio-visual
technology from Sensory Technologies. As
you enter the OstermanCron showroom, a
large video digital signage display
welcomes visitors, displays project
photos and new product information,
while listing upcoming events hosted at
the facility. The flexible display can
present RSS and broadcast feeds
including weather, current events,
television and video highlights.
The primary training/conference room
is equipped with a scheduling LCD touch
panel that displays planned room usage
hours and meeting schedules.
OstermanCron staff can either schedule
their meetings at the panel, or by
Outlook interface, and quickly schedule
and reference their scheduling needs at
either location.
The training room is controlled by a
custom programmed, wireless touch panel
that can be used anywhere in the room,
as furniture placement changes for
various meeting and training uses.
The graphic designs programmed on the
touch panel provides users intuitive
navigation, and allows presenter’s focus
to remain on meeting and presentation,
without concern in juggling various
remotes to navigate Audio-Visual
choices.
The wireless LCD touch panel controls
a motorized, tensioned 16:9 screen that
is lowered when needed and hidden in
ceiling when not in use. A bright
WXGA DLP data/video projector is ceiling
mounted, along with ceiling speaker
system. A separate conference room
completes the system integration, and
includes a wall-mounted 42” diagonal LCD
panel, with 16:9 HDTV display
capabilities.
